New Executive Director Named for Volunteer Center of Napa Valley


(PRWEB) May 21, 2005 -- The Volunteer Center of Napa Valley announced today that Caryl Hallberg is their new Executive Director.

The Volunteer Centers Board of Directors went through an extensive search to recruit and hire the best qualified candidate to lead the Volunteer Center and its dedicated staff and volunteers. We believe that Caryl possesses the skills, personality and energy to continue to inspire volunteerism in our community while working closely and respectfully with Center personnel, said Board President, Gary Lieberstein, when he formally introduced Ms Hallberg to the Volunteer Staff.

Hallberg has spent years helping businesses and Community Based Organizations create strategic plans and collaborative efforts. She has provided leadership and training for dozens organizations. Now she brings that expertise and passion to the Volunteer Center of Napa Valley. She has over three decades of excellence in building enterprises and public benefit organizations into creative, effective resources. She is an advocate who skillfully builds consensus to drive organizational growth and change, developing solutions to meet community needs and organizational challenges.

Hallberg begins her role with the Volunteer Center of Napa Valley on June 1, 2005.

I am proud to be joining an organization that has served the community of Napa Valley for 31 years with programs ranging from Child Advocacy to Senior Services. She said.

The Volunteer Center encourages, fosters and promotes volunteerism by recruiting and training volunteers and coordinating their efforts with public benefit corporations and governmental agencies serving all residents of Napa County.
